| Abstract: | Las nuevas tecnologías de la información y de las comunicaciones, como Internet,
están transformando la sociedad y en particular los procesos educativos;
transformación lo suficientemente importante como para que pueda ser comparada con las grandes revoluciones técnicas como la escritura o la imprenta, que transformaron la educación. La elaboración de un Sitio Web para el Fondo Editorial de Humanidades y Educación de la Universidad Central de Venezuela consistió en utilizar una potente herramienta, como lo es Internet, para mejorar las comunicaciones entre dicha editorial, sus usuarios y público en general, así como la de promocionar el libro humanista en beneficio de la sociedad. The new technologies of information and communications such as Internet, are transforming society and in particular the educational processes, processing large enough so that it can be compared with the great technical revolutions such as writing or printing, which transformed the education. The development of a Website for the Editorial Fund of Humanities and Education of the Universidad Central de Venezuela was to use a powerful tool, such as the Internet, to improve communications between the editorial, its users and the general public as well as to promote the book to benefit the humane society. |
