| dc.description.abstract | Las adaptaciones a guión cinematográfico de las obras literarias a lo largo y ancho del mundo han estado presentes desde los inicios del cine. Si una obra literaria es adaptada a la gran pantalla el público se siente atraído a verla de manera inmediata, porque su origen es conocido o simplemente disfruta de hacer comparaciones con la obra original. Los guiones cinematográficos adaptados requieren un alto nivel de responsabilidad por parte del guionista y su resultado no será bueno o malo por su fidelidad con la obra literaria, sino por la capacidad que se tenga para utilizar códigos que no se manejan en la literatura para representarlo en el cine. Para probar que es posible adaptar una obra literaria a guión cinematográfico sin alterar la esencia de la original, en este trabajo de grado se muestra el proceso de adaptación a guión cinematográfico del cuento Sustitutos, original de César Velásquez y las diversas teorías necesarias para llevar a cabo un proceso de adaptación cinematográfica satisfactorio. | es_VE |
| dc.description.abstract | Cinematographic adaptations of literary texts have been present throughout the world since the beginnings of filmmaking. If a literary text is adapted to the big screen, the public feels drawn immediately to see the adaptation because they know its source material or simply because they enjoy comparing it to the original work. Adapted screenplays demand a high level of responsibility from the screenwriter. Their quality depends not on their fidelity to the literary text, but on the capacity of screenwriters to use codes alien to literature to represent them on film. To demonstrate that literary texts can be adapted to screenplays without altering their essence, this dissertation shows an adaptation to screenplay of the tale Sustitutos, by César Velásquez, and presents diverse theories essential for satisfactory screenplay adaptations. | es_VE |
