Las Dimensiones del Estrés en la Ciudad de Caracas

Abstract

La ciudad de Caracas en los últimos años se ha convertido en un caos urbanístico de gran magnitud donde el estrés ha adquirido dimensiones incalculables causando graves enfermedades en sus habitantes. Permanentemente los caraqueños están sometidos a una presión generada por el tráfico, la inseguridad, la violencia, el mal servicio de transporte público, la sobrepoblación y la contaminación, entre otros factores. Según reportan continuamente los diarios, circular por las principales autopistas y avenidas es un laberinto sin salida, porque cada esquina se multiplica en complejidad por responsabilidad del comercio informal, el irrespeto a las normas de tránsito por parte de los conductores y peatones; todos estos actores interactuando a la vez crean un ambiente de conflicto que desencadena el gran desastre. Mostramos a través de un corto documental las causas que pueden generar estrés en el ser humano y las consecuencias de esta enfermedad, asimismo, ofrecemos una alternativa que pudiese aliviar la carga que llevan a cuesta diariamente los ciudadanos por esta situación caótica en que viven. Este documento pretende lograr el impacto visual capaz de inducir el cambio que los caraqueños necesitan para mejorar su calidad de vida.

The city of Caracas in the last years has become an urban chaos of great magnitude where stress has acquired incalculable dimensions, causing serious diseases in its inhabitants. Permanently the natives of Caracas are put under a pressure generated by the traffic, the insecurity, the violence, the deficient public transport service, the overpopulation and the contamination among other factors. According to the continuously reports from Caracas newspapers, to circulate around the main freeways and avenues are a labyrinth without exit; each corner is multiplied in complexity because of the informal commerce, the disrespect to norms of transit as much on the part of the conductors as of the pedestrians, all interacting simultaneously create a conflict atmosphere that triggers the great disaster. We will show through short documentary causes that can generate stress in the human being and the consequences of this disease, also we offer an alternative that could alleviate the load that daily takes to hill the citizens by this chaotic situation in which they live. This document tries to obtain the visual impact able to induce the change that the natives of Caracas need to improve their quality of life.
