"Misión Milagro: Entre Luces y Sombras"

Abstract

El gobierno de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela ha firmado un Convenio Integral de Cooperación con la República de Cuba por medio del cual se intercambia petróleo a cambio de ayuda en diversas áreas, incluida la salud. Uno de los proyectos que se encuentra enmarcado dentro de este convenio se denomina Misión Milagro y consiste en el traslado a la isla de Cuba de pacientes venezolanos con afecciones oculares. Como Trabajo final de Grado, de los estudios de Comunicación Social en la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), los bachilleres Joaquín Pereira y Beltrán Salazar realizaron un reportaje interpretativo en video sobre esta misión bandera del gobierno del presidente venezolano Hugo Chávez. El objetivo es contestar las inquietudes que sobre este programa de salud se han hecho y que la polarización política que ha vivido Venezuela ha impedido contestar de forma equilibrada: Mientras algunos sólo muestran los aspectos positivos por medio de mensajes propagandísticos, otros lo han atacado sin contemplaciones a través de informaciones sesgadas. En el video se intercalarán las opiniones de especialistas en el tema y de los pacientes venezolanos que optaron por recibir un tratamiento oftalmológico en Cuba. Se desea que el espectador posea una información imparcial sobre la Misión Milagro para que éste pueda hacerse una opinión equilibrada.

The government of the Bolivariana Republic of Venezuela has signed an Integral Agreement of Cooperation with the Republic of Cuba by means of as petroleum in exchange for aid in diverse tasks interchanges, including the health. The objective is to answer the restlessness that on this program of health have become and that the political polarization that is lived Venezuela has prevented to answer of balanced form: While some only show the positive aspects by means of propagandistic messages, others have attacked it without contemplations through slanted information. In the video the opinions of specialists in the subject and the Venezuelan patients, who chose to receive an ophtalmological treatment in Cuba, will be put in. It is desired that the spectator has an impartial information on the Mission Miracle so that this one can be done an opinion balanced.
