| dc.description | The purpose of this work is to describe and analyze the consolidation of Simón Bolívar’s political and military thought between 1815 and 1820, with the purpose of determining the formation of a political thought, original to the HispanicAmerican context. To achieve this objective the following considerations were posed: examining the impact of the international system’s events in the process of Venezuela’s independence; analyzing the role of Simón Bolívar in the process of founding the Venezuelan State between 1817 and 1818; and finally, to describing and analyzing the resulting political and military model of the established Venezuelan State, and the role of Simón Bolívar in the formation of the Republic of Colombia. Therefore, the work has been divided into three parts, the first part is called The International System and the Revolution in Hispanic America: Bolívar as a publicist; the second part called Independence and formation of the Venezuelan State; and finally, The Bolivarian Republicanism. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El objeto del presente trabajo consistirá en describir y analizar el proceso de consolidación del pensamiento político y militar de Simón Bolívar entre 1815 y 1820, a los fines de determinar la formación de un pensamiento político original para el contexto hispanoamericano. Para el logro de este objetivo se plantearon las siguientes consideraciones: examinar el impacto de los acontecimientos en el sistema internacional en el proceso de independencia de Venezuela; analizar el papel de Simón Bolívar en el proceso de formación del Estado venezolano entre 1817 y 1818; y finalmente, describir y analizar el modelo político y militar resultante del proceso de formación del Estado venezolano, y el rol de Simón Bolívar en la formación de la República de Colombia.
