| Abstract: | La preservación histórica y cultural de un pueblo depende, a grandes rasgos,de 4 factores: que sus habitantes sepan apreciar el valor cultural que tienen sus costumbres y tradiciones, que las protejan y lo fortalezcan para su posterior transmisión. Esta investigación se propone responder cuál es la situación actual de la cultura llanera en la ciudad de Calabozo en el estado Guárico y cuáles son las actividades tradicionales más importantes que allí se realizan.
