La seducción perversa de Tarantino. (Descifrando las claves de la estética de la violencia contemporánea a través de Kill Bill Vol.1 y Vol.2.)

Abstract

En el arte, el sufrimiento, el horror y la tragedia siempre han sido fuentes de inspiración para dar a luz obras, algunas de ellas, dignas de admiración. Hoy los lienzos se transforman en pantallas para mostrarnos el proceso de la estetización de la violencia. El cine ha logrado plasmar la realidad e irrealidad de nuestro difuso paisaje cultural y ha conseguido ser otro soporte para hacer del sufrimiento un espectáculo de contemplación. En el séptimo arte ha habido varios realizadores que han abordado el tema de la violencia. Entre ellos sobresale Quentin Tarantino, quien en los últimos años ha sido capaz de convulsionar la historia de la cinematografía a través de su firma inconfundible. El presente trabajo persigue detectar y descifrar los elementos con los que nos seduce Tarantino, con el fin de comprobar si existe una estética de la violencia dentro de su obra más reciente: “Kill Bill Vol.1 y Vol.2”. De igual forma pretendemos comprobar que en su obra se encuentran de manera intrínseca los signos inequívocos que le dan forma al clima cultural de nuestro tiempo.

In art, suffering, horror and tragedy had always been an inspiration that have given birth artworks worth to stare at. Today the canvas changes into screens to show us the aesthetization of violence process. In movies we can appreciate the blurry cultural landscape’s reality and unreality, in fact it has become another platform to make of the suffering a contemplation show. In seventh art a lot filmmakers have worked on the violence theme, but between them, we found Quentin Tarantino, who has been able to transfigure the cinematography’s history through is unique trademark. This piece of work aims to detect and figure out the elements by which Tarantino seduces us, in order to find out if there is aesthetic of violence beneath is last film: “Kill Bill” vol. 1 & Vol.2. In the same way, we’ll prove that in his work we can find the unequivocal sings that shapes the cultural climate of our time.
