| Abstract: | Este trabajo tiene por meta hacer un estudio de la cultura musical caraqueña, a través de la visión que nos da la Gaceta de Caracas, pionero hemerográfico que circuló en nuestra ciudad entre 1808 y 1822. El trabajo se inserta en una línea de investigación de más amplio espectro la cual busca hacer un levantamiento y estudio de las noticias musicales en la prensa venezolana del siglo XIX y XX. Con ello esperamos también hacer una aproximación a los géneros periodísticos que en la prensa pionera de Venezuela, se ocuparon de la vida cultural del país.El trabajo podrá mostrar una innovadora visión cultural de un período que ha sido estudiado casi exclusivamente desde el punto de vista de la vida política y militar de la nación. This paper work has a goal to study the musical culture of Caracas, through a vision that gives us the Gaceta de Caracas, pioneer hemerographic media that circulated in our city between 1808 and 1822. This work inserts within an investigation line of a broader spectrum, which aims to research and study the musical news in the Venezuelan press of the 19 th and 20 th century. With this is also expected to make an approximation to the journalistic genres that, in the pioneer press of Venezuela, were in charge of the cultural life of the country. The work could show and innovative cultural vision of a period has been studied, almost exclusively, from the point of view of the politic and military life of the nation. |
