El Chigüire Bipolar. Evolución del Periodismo Humorístico en Venezuela a través de la Web 2.0

Abstract

El humor siempre ha estado presente para ejercer la crítica política y social. En Venezuela, casi 200 años de humor impreso en diarios de circulación nacional han permitido hallar la importancia de éste como forma de opinión para plasmar una realidad y hacérsela llegar al lector o espectador. Históricamente, el periodismo humorístico se ha resistido a ceder ante los grandes poderes y ha buscado perdurar en el tiempo. La presente investigación develará la importancia que cobra la web 2.0 al punto de ofrecernos, nuevas alternativas, no sólo para informarnos, sino también para entretenernos con su contenido. Una de ellas es El Chigüire Bipolar, un blog con el mismo carácter lúdico que extrañamos de esas otras publicaciones que se han ausentado cada vez más de la oferta editorial nacional. Ante la necesidad de conocer si se trata de un resurgimiento o más bien de una continuidad del periodismo humorístico en nuestro país, quisimos realizar un análisis exhaustivo de las bondades que supieron encontrar los creadores de El Chigüire en esta nueva era digital, para deslindarnos del concepto de un humorismo meramente impreso cuya trayectoria en Venezuela ha recorrido los linderos del acontecer político, económico y social. In our country, almost 200 years of printed humor in national newspapers, have allowed us to find the real importance of it, like a way of opinion to exhibit a reality and make it available to readers and spectators. Historically, the Humorous Journalism had known how to act, for not giving up in front of the big groups of power and last through the times. This investigation will reveal the importance of web 2.0 to the point of offering to us new choices, not just to be informed, but to entertain us with it content. One of those is “El Chiguire Bipolar”, a web blog with the same playful character that we miss from those publications that had been, every time more absent, from the national publishing offer. Given the need of knowing if it was the resurgence or just the continuity of Humorous Journalism in our country, we wanted to make a deep and exhausted analysis of the benefits that creators of “El Chiguire Bipolar” found in this new digital age, to loosening us from the concept of a humor merely printed, whose trajectory in Venezuela, have travel through the boundaries of political, economical and social aspects.
