ANÁLISIS DE LA DINÁMICA ESPACIAL DEL USO DE LA TIERRA EN LA ACTIVIDAD TURÍSTICA LOCAL. PARROQUIA EL JARILLO, ESTADO MIRANDA

Resumen

La investigación que se presenta tiene el propósito de contribuir al desarrollo de propuestas de manejo turístico, considerando las características socio-económicas y físico-naturales, el diseño de la investigación fue de campo, no experimental; la metodología se inicia con un inventario de atractivos turísticos, a través de visitas de campo, entrevistas no estructuradas a expertos, y encuestas realizadas a los turistas, con base en ello y junto a la interpretación cartográfica y datos disponibles, se fundamentó en la valoración perceptual de turistas y habitantes de la parroquia, y se generó la propuesta que identificó el tipo de turismo cónsono con los recursos de la parroquia, sectorizando las actividades turísticas según las características del territorio para el turismo de aventura, el ecoturismo y el agroturismo en aquellos sectores que cumplieran con las potencialidades existentes, los requerimientos de los turistas, y el manejo sustentable de sus recursos. La investigación es un aporte para el estudio del turismo, del paisaje y las relaciones que se dan en él, así como para la formulación de proyectos o programas de gestión, representando una alternativa ante la dificultad de datos disponibles y actualizados por parte de los entes oficiales encargados. 

ABSTRACT 

The research was conducted with the purpose of developing tourism management proposals, considering the socio-economic and physical-natural characteristics of the place, the design was a non-experimental field study; the methodology was based on the perceptual assessment of tourists and inhabitants of the parish through field visits, interviews with experts and surveys of tourists, based on this and together with the cartographic interpretation and available data, a proposal was generated that identified the type of tourism in accordance with the resources of the parish, sectorizing tourism activities according to the characteristics of the territory. In addition to the inventory of tourist attractions for adventure tourism, ecotourism and agro-tourism, in the sectors that meet the existing potential the requirements of tourists and the sustainable management of its resources. The research is a contribution to the study of tourism, as an alternative to the difficulty of available and updated data on the part of the official entities in charge. Therefore, it linked the visitor's preferences, adapting the proposal to the tourist's interests, being a contribution for the study of the landscape and the relationships that occur in it, and for the formulation of projects or management programs.
