Resumen

La narrativa de Luis Sepúlveda (fundamentalmente sus novelas Un viejo que leía novelas de amor, Mundo del fin del mundo, Nombre de Torero y Patagonia Express) construye un sujeto que, atravesado por la postmodernidad, se va reformulando a medida que cuenta sus historias de vida. Sujeto y palabra viajeras, movilidad y contrastes: una literatura que trata de escenificar los cambios y las percepciones más subjetivas de la realidad, los mil y un nuevos relatos del tiempo y el hombre contemporáneos.

Luis Sepulveda’s narrative (mainly his novels Un viejo que leía novelas de amor, Mundo del fin del mundo, Nombre de Torero y Patagonia Express) builts a character that, pierced by postmodernity, reinvents himself as he narrates his life experiences. A traveler character, a traveler word: mobility and contrasts: this literature tries to portray the changes and the most subjective perceptions of reality, one thousand and one new stories about the contemporary time and the contemporary man.
