Abstract

Metastatic skin tumors are rare, with an incidence of less than 10% and a colorectal adenocarcinoma origin of less than 6%. The present case consists of a 74 year old female patient, controlled type 2 diabetic, who reports 07 months of evolution, abdominal pain, located in the hypochondrium and right flank, of moderate intensity, not irradiated; associated with changes in the evacuation pattern and weight loss. Physical examination reveals a plaque type lesion in the cranial region, left parietal, with a nodular surface, painless, whose biopsy reports poorly differentiated metastatic adenocarcinoma, and colonoscopy reveals a raised lesion with a smooth and erythematous surface at the level of the cecum; histologically it is identified as a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with signet ring cells; This last finding is also unusual, since only 0.1-2.4% of primary signet ring cell carcinomas occur in the colon. The patient is referred to medical oncology; however, she died before starting palliative treatment.
