A new species of Panstrongylus Berg from Venezuela. (Hemiptera: Reduviidae, Triatominae)

Resumo

Panstrongylus martinezorum sp. n. from close to Puerto Ayacucho, Venezuela is described. It is one the smaller species of the genus, measuring 19 mm (similar to Panstrongylus lenti Galvâo y Palma 1968). Its color basically isyellowish brown with dark spots. The urosternites are all completely yellow except by small circular, dark paramedialspots on each segment, in the holotype. Lateral side of the head with a granulose area behind the eyes.
