Esta investigación de tipo exploratoria y explicativa, está inspirada en las nuevas tecnologías, en el proceso de conversión que sufren los medios de comunicación tradicionales desde hace un par de décadas, hacia el formato digital. Esta conversión le permite a medios tradicionales ser conocidos por todo el mundo a través de internet, al mismo tiempo se genera una competencia por calidad de información. La revista “Margariteñerías, tiene una trayectoria de 38 años en la sociedad del estado Nueva Esparta. Esta revista histórica y cultural, recoge la esencia del hombre insular y trabaja a favor de conservar las tradiciones, costumbres, valores e identidad del neoespartano. Siguiendo las bases del diseño documental y experimental, se fundamenta la trascendencia histórica de la revista “Margariteñerías” dentro de la sociedad del estado Nueva Esparta y hace hincapié en los géneros periodísticos y literarios que componen la revista. El conocimiento de estos puntos permitirá cumplir con el objetivo general: desarrollar y diseñar un sitio web para la revista “Margariteñerías”.
