Se muestran los resultados de un estudio de necesidades realizado en el Instituto de Previsión del Profesorado de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, para identificar la percepción de los afiliados sobre la necesidad de crear un Servicio de Psicología. La muestra fue de 247 personas, con
edades entre los 18 y 87 años. El 94,7% considera que sí es necesario crear el servicio. Las razones principales son la necesidad de atender conflictos familiares y problemas afectivos emocionales porque lo psicológico también forma parte de la salud. Se indican las funciones y características esperadas
del Servicio, además de los motivos de consulta por los cuales en el momento de realizarse este estudio acudirían al psicólogo.

Members of the IPP-Caracas perceptions about need to create a Psychology Service

Abstract
This document shows the needs detect at Instituto de Previsión del Profesorado de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (IPP), located in Caracas, with objective to identify the perception of the members about the need to create a Psychology Service. The sample consisted of 247 individuals, aged between 18 and 87 years. The 94.7% believe that if it is necessary to create the service. The main reasons are the need to address
family conflicts, addressing affective and emotional problems and because the psychology also part of health. It describes the functions and features that affiliates consider to be met within a Psychology Service, along with the reasons for consultation by which right now would go to a psychologist.
