Resumen

This study aimed to compare the effect of treatmentwith hypoxene and standard medicaltreatment for the oxidative stress (catalase(CAT), lipid peroxidation (LPO), inhibition of superoxidedismutase (SOD), diene conjugates (DC) and malondialdehyde(MDA) at the admission and at the end of treatmentin hospital, after 6 months, 1 year in patients withCFH. This prospective study included 158 patients withCHS who were treated at the State Budgetary Institutions“Clinical Hospital № 1 of Grozny” and “Clinical Hospital№ 5 of Grozny” in 2017. All the patients divided intotwo groups. Group A treat hypoxen and standard medicaltherapy, and Group B – non-treat hypoxene and standardmedical therapy, as a control group. The patients of groupA were then given 750 mg/d hypoxene for 4 weeks. Bloodsamples were collected from the patients on admissionand at the end of the study, after 6 months, 1 year. Meanage of group A patients were 49±6.3 years while in controlgroup it was 51±9.4 years. There were 48 males in groupA patients and 43 males in control subjects. The levelsof LPO were found to be significantly increased in groupA patients compared to control (P< 0.05). The catalase,MDA, DC and SOD levels were significantly decreased (P<0.05) in group A patients compared to controls. Duringthe treatment of patients of the studied groups showed asignificant decline in lipid peroxidation.
