HABITAR LA RUPTURA. APROXIMACIÓN METATEÓRICA AL MINICUENTO COMO FORMA DISCURSIVA URBANA

La permeabilidad entre lo real y la ficción, o más concretamente, el vínculo entre la urbe postmoderna y el discurso ficcional que la aborda, constituye el interés central de este artículo. Se argumenta cómo fue posible que la experiencia urbana postmoderna –marcada por la fragmentariedad, la incertidumbre y la multiplicidad– deviniera en el surgimiento de la microficción, un género literario a tono con las necesidades expresivas de la nueva realidad citadina. Como constatación de esta propuesta, se examinan tres textos breves del libro Caracas revisited: una poética de la nocturnidad (2010), de Héctor Seijas
ABSTRACT
Permeability between reality and fiction, or more specifically, the link between the postmodern city and the fictional discourse about it, is the central concern of this article. It is argued how the postmodern urban experience –marked by fragmentation, uncertainty and multiplicity– gave rise to micro-fiction, a literary genre matching with expressive necessities of the new urban reality. Ultimately, three flash fictions from the book Caracas revisited: una poética de la nocturnidad (2010), by Héctor Seijas, are examined to verify this proposal
