ESTEREOTIPOS Y EL ROL SOCIAL DE LOS GÉNEROS EN LA NARRATIVA FEMINISTA

Resumen

Este Artículo es un aporte al análisis crítico del discurso, el cual forma parte de un estudio mayor cuyo propósito general es crear conciencia de la influencia que tiene la narrativa tradicional occidental sobre los estereotipos y la función social de los géneros. El objetivo general del estudio es describir las estrategias discursivas que usan algunos autores al crear un texto ideológicamente feminista con relación al manejo de la descripción de los personajes y, por consiguiente, la función social de los géneros. El estudio se hace siguiendo las teorías de analistas críticos del discurso tales como van Dijk (1984, 1991), Talbot (1995), Cranny- Francis (1990) y Fairclough (1989, 1992), entre otros.

ABSTRACT
This paper is a contribution to the critical discourse analysis, which is part of a bigger study. The general purpose of this study is to make people aware of the influence of occidental traditional narrative on the stereotypes and the social function of genres. The general objective of this study is to describe the discursive strategies used by some authors to create a text ideologically feminist with regard to the use of character description and, therefore, the social function of genres. This study has been made by following some theories from different experts of critical discourse analysis such as Van Dijk (1984, 1991), Talbot (1995), Cranny – Francis (1990) and Fairclough (1989, 1992), among others.
