Siguiendo el modelo previamente establecido por el Léxico Estratigráfico de Venezuela de 1971, se presentan descripciones actualizadas de las unidades de rocas ígneas y metamórficas de la Cordillera de la Costa, Venezuela, a excepción de aquellas correspondientes a las zonas de El Tinaco y El Baúl.
ABSTRACT
A review of the igneous and metamorphic units of the Coast Range, Venezuela. Following the model of the previous Venezuelan Stratigraphical Lexicon an updated description of all units of the igneous and metamorphic rocks of the Northern Venezuela Coast Range are presented, with the exception of those of El Tinaco and El Baúl regions.
