A partir de la concepción tradicional del Método Científico, arraigada en el conocimiento ordinario, la autora, ubicada en elcontexto de la enseñanza de la Lengua, la Comunicación y la Redacción Técnica, hace un recorrido por las funcionescomunicacionales que cumple el texto dentro de los ámbitos de la Ciencia y la Tecnología, identificándolas como transversalesy de índole social. Las primeras remiten a la representación cognitiva y la segunda a la configuración de comunidadesdiscursivas. Se extraen algunas características generales de los textos producidos en el campo de la ciencia y la tecnología,con base en estudios de autores y se concluye con algunas reflexiones sobre las habilidades que podrían desarrollarse enlos estudiantes, gracias a los programas de Lengua desde un enfoque centrado en lo comunicacional.
ABSTRACT
On the basis of the traditional concept of the Scientific Method, rooted in ordinary knowledge, the authoress reviews thecommunicative functions of the text in the scientific and technological fields, identifying them as both transversal andsocial. Transversal functions allude to cognitive representations and social functions precede discursive communityconfigurations. Some general features of scientific and technological texts are shown, based on the studies of variousauthors and some concluding reflections are made on abilities that could be developed by students, thanks to a LanguageProgram based on communicative paradigm.
