Diseño Instruccional para la Producción de Cursos en Línea y e-learning

Resumen

La modalidad a distancia y las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación han ganado espacios significativos para la reflexión y discusión permanente en el ámbito educativo. La educación a distancia se ha desplazado a través del tiempo en compañía del desarrollo de los medios, siendo Internet y sus servicios en estos momentos el acompañante principal. Al igual, la modalidad presencial se ha visto enriquecida no sólo por los avances en las tecnologías, sino también ahora se nutre de experiencias que amplían su campo de acción más allá del aula física, al encontrarnos en una convergencia de modalidades. Estos nuevos entornos generados a partir de las exigencias de la sociedad de la información y del conocimiento demandan el diseño de nuevas propuestas para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Algunas de estas alternativas se sustentan en el diseño de cursos en línea y el e-learning. En este contexto es necesario reflexionar en relación a qué características tienen estos nuevos entornos, cómo convergen las diferentes modalidades educativas, cómo organizarlas y diseñar experiencias que respondan a estas exigencias. 

Abstract
The modality of education at distance and the technologies of information and communication have gained significant spaces for the reflection and permanent discussion in the educational ground. This modality has moved across the time accompanied by the development of electronic means, presently being Internet and its services. Similar to the conventional modality, education at distance has been enriched not only by the advances of technology, but also by the experiences that enlarges its field of action even beyond the classroom. These new environments generated by the requirements of the information and knowledge societies, demand the design of new proposals for instruction and learning. Some of these options are supported by the design of courses on line and by the electronic-learning. In this context it is necessary to think in relation to what characteristics these new environments have, how the different educational modalities converge and how to organize and to design experiences that correspond to the e requirements.
