La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo construir una plataforma teórica para sustentar la vinculación que debe existir entre el currículo, la investigación y los proyectos comunitarios en las universidades venezolanas. El estudio parte del planteamiento de que existe un vacío teórico que permita explicar e interpretar esa vinculación, al igual que, contribuir a generar acciones y estrategias que faciliten las transformaciones de la educación superior. El enfoque metodológico empleado es de tipo cualitativo y para recopilar la información se utilizaron técnicas grupales. Los resultados muestran que la vinculación entre el currículo, la investigación y los proyectos comunitarios debe sustentarse en un conjunto de ocho (8) principios, los cuales a su vez fundamentarán los siguientes ejes teóricos: a) valoración del ser humano; b) participación y autogestión; c) contextualización del saber; d) transformación social como intencionalidad de la vinculación entre currículo, investigación y proyectos comunitarios.
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to build a theoretical platform which could help to support the necessary connection that there must be among higher education curricula, research and communitarian projects in Venezuelan universities. The starting point of this study was the statement that there is a theoretical emptiness which could help to explain and to interpret this linking and at the same time, contribute to generate actions and apply strategies in order to enhance and facilitate the required transformation of higher education in our country. We used a qualitative research methodology based on the application of group techniques to collect data. The results show that the link among curriculum, research an communitarian projects should be supported in a set of eight (8) principles which at the same time must be the base for the following theoretical axes: a) appraisal of the human being; b) participation and self-management; c) knowledge contextualization and d) social transformation as the main purpose to attain such a link among the curriculum, investigation and communitarian projects.
