ENTORNOS VIRTUALES DE APRENDIZAJE DESDE LA VISIÓN DE DOCENTES ECUATORIANOS

Resumen

El uso de la tecnología se ha vuelto para el ámbito educativo, una forma de fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, y a través de ésta, se puede llegar a gran cantidad de estudiantes de forma inmediata (sin limitaciones de distancia), se puede mantener entre docentes y estudiantes una continua comunicación. Las aulas virtuales han pasado a ser otra herramienta para el desarrollo de estrategias de instrucción que permite a los docentes interactuar continuamente con sus estudiantes. En esta investigación se presenta la opinión de docentes ecuatorianos acerca de las ventajas que tiene el uso de entonos virtuales de aprendizaje (EVA). Se tomó una muestra de 50 profesores, a los cuales se les aplicó una encuesta con la finalidad de conocer su opinión acerca de los EVA. La opinión fue favorable para el uso de los EVA en la educación, opinión que se atribuye a la participación de los docentes con menos de 10 años en la carrera docentes, es decir, una población joven más familiarizada con la tecnología digital.

VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS FROM THE VISION OF ECUADORIAN TEACHERS

The use of technology has become for the educational field, a way to strengthen the teaching and learning process, and through it, a large number of students can be reached immediately (without limitations of distance), it can be maintained between teachers and students a continuous communication. Virtual classrooms have become another tool for the development of instructional strategies that allow teachers to interact continuously with their students. This research presents the opinion of Ecuadorian teachers about the advantages of using virtual learning environments (VLE). A sample of 50 teachers was taken, to which a survey was applied in order to know their opinion about the EVA. The opinion was favorable for the use of EVA in education, an opinion that is attributed to the participation of teachers with less than 10 years in the teaching career, that is, a young population more familiar with digital technology.
