Resumen

In tribute to the Venezuelan scientist Marcel Roche, we published the text of his conference Science, Technology and Human Rights, given at the World Congress of Human Rights (Costa Rica, 1982 and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, 1983). A document that is part of the documentary heritage of the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC) and which highlights the relationship of science and technology in support of Human Rights so violated in the Venezuela of the XXI century.

En homenaje al científico venezolano Marcel Roche, publicamos el texto de su conferencia Ciencia, Tecnología y Derechos Humanos, dictada en el Congreso Mundial de los Derechos Humanos (Costa Rica, 1982 y la Pontificia Academia de Ciencias, 1983). Un documento que forma parte del patrimonio documental del Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas (IVIC) y donde destaca la relación de la ciencia y tecnología en apoyo a los Derechos Humanos tan vulnerados en la Venezuela del siglo XXI.
