Proceso de ocupación humana en la franja norcostera del estado Falcón (Venezuela) entre los siglos XVIII al XX: un análisis arqueológico del espacio

Resumen

Resumen. A partir del análisis espacial del registro arqueológico recuperado en un
área de transecta en la franja norcostera del estado Falcón, se pudo inferir el proceso de
ocupación humana del espacio desde el último cuarto del siglo XVIII hasta más allá de
la mitad del siglo XX. Si bien la historia nos permitió percibir este proceso de ocupación
de manera continua a través del tiempo, el análisis arqueológico nos confirmó esta información, pero también nos permitió observar continuidades y discontinuidades en las
ocupaciones y con qué pueden estar asociadas estas variaciones.

Process of human occupation in the coastal strip north-Falcón
(Venezuela) from the eighteenth to the twentieth century: An
archaeological analysis of space

Abstract. From the space analysis of the archaeological registry recovered in an
area of transecta in the strip north coast of the Falcon state, the process of human
occupation of the space could be inferred from the last quarter of century XVIII to half
of century XX. The history, allowed us to perceive this process of occupation of continuous way through the time and the archaeological analysis confirmed this information,
allowed us to observe continuities and discontinuities in the human occupations and
with which occurred can be associate these variations.
