Vico y Descartes.

Resumen

El propósito de las presentes páginas consiste en aproximarse al muy peculiar cartesiansmo de Giambattista Vico. Más precisamente, se trata de introducirse en las razones que permiten comprender por qué cuando el autor de la Scienza Nuova llega a la cabal comprensión de la filosofía cartesiana, en ese mismo momento logra tomar conciencia de su radical anticartesianismo. En tal sentido, puede afirmarse que Vico ha sido un cartesiano tout court,, en virtud de que ha logrado penetrar en el núcleo mismo de aquella filosofía, al punto de hacerla concrecer. Pero, al hacerlo, termina liberándola del dogmatismo racionalista al cual el propio Descartes había encadenado su pensamiento.

Abstract:

The purpose of these pages is to give an approach to the very peculiar Giambattista Vico’s cartesianism. More precisely, it is about introducing into the reasons which allow understand why the author of the Scienza Nuova reaches the whole comprehension of the cartesian philosophy just in the moment he achieves to be conscious of his radical anticartesianism. Anyways, it is possible to say that Vico has been a tout court cartesian, because he has achieved to penetrate into the kernel of that philosophy, making it concrete. But, when he does that, he finishes liberating it from the racionalist dogmatism to which Descartes himself had tied his own thought.
