Pensar la ciudad es inevitablemente imaginar sus espacios, pensar la ciudad es acudir a la experiencia vivida en sus espacios habitables, de tal manera que el juego entre pensar e imaginar se entrama y se diluye cuando de los espacios para vivir se trata. Los sujetos sociales recurren al banco de imágenes posibles en el horizonte mental de su época para construir su paisaje urbano, es decir, recurren a sus imaginarios habitables en la cotidianidad colectiva para construir representaciones y participar de la producción de nuevos imaginarios habitables urbanos.
Abstract
Thinking the city is undoubtedly imagining urban spaces, thinking the city is taking life experience in inhabitable spaces in such a way that the game between thinking and imagining weaves and dilutes when spaces to live are concerned. Social subjects apply to the possible images bank in their times mental horizon, in order to construct an urban landscape in their daily life collectivity; all of which enables them to form social representations and to participate in the production of new urban imaginaries.
