GLOSARIO MORFOLÓGICO DEL INDUMENTO DE HOJAS Y TALLOS DE ANGIOSPERMAS EN VENEZUELA
Resumen
La morfología de los tricomas e indumentos ha sido ampliamente estudiada debido a la importancia taxonómica que tienen estas estructuras para algunos taxa; esto ha generado una variedad de términos para describirlos, sin embargo poco se ha hecho para estandarizar el vocabulario relacionado a estas estructuras. Este trabajo consistió en la compilación y estandarización de los términos más comunes utilizados, en inglés y en español, para describir tricomas e indumentos presentes en hojas y tallos de angiospermas. El resultado es el primer glosario de indumento y tricomas en castellano, de 99 términos, 39 ilustraciones y ejemplos de especies de amplia distribución en Venezuela, el cual se espera represente una herramienta práctica para la descripción de tricomas e indumentos en el futuro.Descargas
