Calabozo: Ciudad esencia del llano Venezolano y su potencial turístico

Abstract

Calabozo, es una ciudad perteneciente al estado Guárico, una de las regiones que conforman los llanos de Venezuela. Está Situada a 97 Metros de altitud en las márgenes del río Guárico en el alto llano central. Se ha beneficiado por su situación céntrica en la carretera que une la región Central con San Fernando de Apure. Se mantuvo hasta mediados del siglo XX, como centro ganadero con escasa población. La gran extensión del estado Guárico puede considerarse como dividida en tres polos de desarrollo: al norte, la zona de San Juan de los Morros, de topografía colinosa y no propiamente llanera. Centro político administrativo; la del Valle de la Pascua, al noreste, con gran desarrollo de maíz y sorgo asociados a la ganadería de leche y de doble propósito, y Calabozo al centro, principal polo productor de arroz del país, sede de agroindustrias y centros de servicios para una amplia extensión territorial de los estados Guárico y Apure; de los llanos bajos, con muy baja densidad poblacional, predomina la ganadería extensiva de carne. Calabozo es una ciudad colmada de una belleza que ha logrado atrapar a los turistas venezolanos y extranjeros, sus paisajes y monumentos naturales, su legado histórico, su nivel de producción y el fervor de su gente, se fusionan, para hacer de esta ciudad una verdadera maravilla visual. El propósito de la elaboración de este proyecto, es promocionar a través de micros informativos de radio, las innumerables opciones que ofrece Calabozo, una ciudad que posee un alto nivel económico, social, educativo, cultural y turístico. Es importante promover el desarrollo y la actividad turística de esta región, motivando a las personas a que visiten cada rincón calaboceño, para que sean partícipes de todas las maravillas que pueden encontrar en el llamado corazón de Venezuela.

SUMMARY Calabozo, it is a city belonging to the state Guárico, one of the regions that shape the plains of Venezuela. It is placed to 97 Meters of altitude in the márgenes of the river Guárico in the high plain central. He has been of benefit for his central situation in the road that joins the Central region with San Fernando of Apure. It was kept until middle of the 20th century, as center of the cattle with scanty population. The great extension of the state Guárico can be divided in three growth points: in the northern part, the zone of San Juan of the Morros, of topography colinosa and not properly llanera. Political administrative Center; that of the Valley of the Easter, to the North-East, with great development of maize and sorghum associated with the cattle of milk and of double intention, and Calabozo to the center, principal producing pole of rice of the country, station of agroindustries and centers of services for a wide territorial extension of the states Guárico and Apure; of the low plains, with very low population density, predominates extensive cattle of meat. Calabozo is a city filled with a beauty that has managed to catch the Venezuelan and foreign tourists, his landscapes and natural monuments, his historical legacy, his level of production and the fervor of his people, they fuse, to do of this city real visual marvel. The intention of the elaboration of this project is to promote across informative mikes of radio, the innumerable options that offers Calabozo, a city that possesses a high economic, social, educational, cultural and tourist level. It is important to promote the development and the tourist activity of this region, motivating the persons to whom visit every corner calaboceño, in order that they are participants of all the marvels that can find in the so called heart of Venezuela.
